Dreams Do Come True…

For those in doubt, please know that dreams do in fact come true. They may take longer than you’d like, and sometimes they may not look the way you imagined, but they do. There have been so many moments that I wanted to give up. I was doing all the things, and I do mean ALL the things, and still felt like nothing was happening, nothing was changing. And then one day, I looked up and could see the wheels turning- everything was different. Turns out all of those things I was putting out into the Universe were working behind the scenes to create miracles.

There are a couple miracles/dreams of note that I want to talk about.

The first one is that today, September 16, 2026, is my 10-year soberversary. I can’t believe I’ve been sober for 10 years already! It has been an incredible journey-also hard, painful, tormenting, beautiful, exhilarating, and everything else that it absolutely had to be to get me to this point today. I have grown in ways I never imagined and have seen my life change over and over again reminding me that it’s never too late to go in a different direction.

One of the best decisions I made throughout that journey was documenting my experience and everything I did to help heal myself in every possible way.

Which brings me to the second miracle of the day. Drumroll please….

Today, September 16, 2026, my book is being released for publication! I am officially a published author!! Ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved to write. I fancied myself a poet for many years, but in the back of my mind I always knew I’d write a book. I also always knew it would be a memoir, though I didn’t know what about. Today, that dream becomes a reality. I wanted to publish this book mostly for me- to prove to myself I could, to be a published author like I’ve always dreamed, and to put out in the world some of the wisdom I’ve gained in my crazy life. I can only dream now that it helps someone else.

I have two asks with this:

First, please consider grabbing a copy- you can find it here for paperback or Kindle: https://a.co/d/06qYwzEX

Second, as I don’t have any social media outside of LinkedIn, I would really appreciate you passing the word along if you feel so inclined.

Thank you for being a part of my journey. I am truly blessed.
